i may get killed for this but guys seriously its the most often visited place by me n my family so it was unfair on my part on not to write about it.....
kindly consider that this place is vegetarian n gives a choice of many dishes so it wont be fair to compare it with places that serve only one type of cuisine!!
it doles out dishes more like a fast food joint.....
nevertheless ill start with my all time favourite.....chinese platter!!u have got to try it to believe it .....it gives a mix of chowmein, honey chilly potatoes, fried rice n veg manchurian.....dont expect true chinese taste in it....ofcourse like everywhere it has been indianised too.....
other recommended dishes by me include:
pao bhaji
paneer tikka
dal chilla
executive thali (truly executive n inc curd, salad, papad, pickle n a sweet dish all togther in one go besides the other main contents....n above all good quantity)
idli n vada sambhar
tandoori platter (a mix of different veg kebabs )

plus the bonus is that u can have any sweetdish or get it packed together with other snacks like samosas etc(which are equally delicious n mouth watering!!)
has got a huge seating area.....
also its easily approachable, has free parking space (though a lil enroachment because of metro may cause slight trouble)


in the same breath i would like to mention that the other branch near lajpat nagar cannot be compared to it in anyway...small parking area....very lil eating space...no seating arrangements(u gotta eat standing....a lil uncomfortable esp if u have elderly people along n plus it does not serve the array of dishes that it does at mathura road....for eg no south indian stuff is served!!)

so in case there is still a soul who hasnt ever visited do go n enjoy!! ;)

The food is very good , they have a pretty wide range of paranths and all of them have a different taste (pocket paranatha is a must try). The ambience is a lil sidey but the menu that they serve in form of a newspaper can be a USP :P

This place is a class. The only place in Delhi that i've come across that plays good live music. They have song menu from wich u can choose frm. The song is also decent enuf. Food is alright, u get combo meals. I ordered butter chicken, wich is always naice. Surely a place u must try once!!

I was pleasently surprised to find good Italian food , virtually, right next door. Havent tried many dishes from the nicely layed out menu (seemed to be a copied a li'l Big Chill menu).The ambience could be improved a lil but the food and price would more than make up for it. Next time ill try the coffee they have to offer.

Hello 'Food' Party people, I'm back after a long break of dieting. Well Bercos, what do I say, very nice Chinese food and very reasonable as well. Specialty would have to be the Crispy Chilli Potato (they are not really chilli) and the fruit beer. Getting a table might be a problem, so go a little early or a little late. Ciao!!!

This one is for the sophisticated ones or the place to take your parents to on a very special occasion.The desi food being served is as good you'll ever eat. Check out the names thats surprisingly desi too, considering the fact most of the customers are foreigners , they used the word paneer instead of cottage cheese :P

A really nice place to hang out and one of the very few places in Delhi which plays good rock music. The best part is that u get to request songs:P. Really nice chicken wings and wel beer jus tastes like beer(i guess so) hehe..And ya dnt forget to grab the free postcards jus next to the washroom..Parking might be a issue so i suggest take a metro or an auto or jus go walkin i care a crocodiles ass:D

My favorite place of al time. Best Italian ever (Spago), though i.m really sorry i cant recommend anything cause in their menu the only thing that i remember is "Menu". However the waiters are really helpful:P. Even Zaffran (Indian) is also nice, with menu from which u can read understand and order. Bohemia is also a nice plan to hang out. And the lift there is a lil small but it fits 5. Wat else can u ask for??

p.s.: A lil impossible to get a table.

Now first of all nothing is deluxe about anything here.....well where should i start from??as soon as we were seated the menu cards were served right on top of the plates on which we were supposed to be served food!!(yuck!!)then after a while we decided on navratan korma n chiken lababdaar.....while the chicken curry was good n the chiken was soft the chiken to curry ratio was skewed...way to less chiken in lots n lots of curry......
the napkins had all shades of grease n prev customers finger prints on them...n to get the napkins changed took us 5 mins.....
navratan korma was a disaster......thats it i cant explain it in any other words.....
next there was a fork lying unused on our table which a waiter came n very conveniently sneaked it off the table ( i mean come on...were there not eough forks in the restaurant or what?)next to be whisked off our table was the basket in which they serve the naans n all...i guess that also comes out in limited editions.....
ofourse to get a glass of water refilled was another story all together.......suddenly all the waiters turned a deaf ear or even barely recognised our presence there!!
for all this the bill was way too much high.....

my suggestion unless n until u wanna waste money or experience the limit of ur patience dont visit this place!!

0.5 for serving the food n 0.5 cause the chiken lababdaar curry was good..
